Our 5th visit to this stunning course, enlarged to its 18 holes in 1922 by James Braid, & redesigned to its present layout in 1936 by another architectural genius, Harry Colt.

This spectacular 164 acre site, set in the North Downs, is deemed one of ‘Special Scientific Interest.’. This naturalists heaven contains pines, oak, rowan, birch, ferns & heather. Its many residents contain badger & deer.

James Bond aficionados will know the final ‘Scottish Highlands’ scene in Skyfall was filmed here. It’s open, widespread appearance is often likened to where seaside links golf meets inland heathland golf. A great course.

• 0830 Meet for tea/coffee & bacon rolls
• 0930 18 holes - Individual Stableford - men/yellow tees - ladies/red tees
• Nearest the Pin - 16th
• After play return to the clubhouse for a 2 course Carvery Lunch & prizegiving

• Individual winner to receive a bottle of Moët et Chandon champagne
• Runner up & winner of Nearest the Pin to receive a bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape
