Ranked no.55 in Golf Monthly’s Top100 courses in UK & Ireland for 2025/26

After 2 wonderful days here, we return for the 3rd consecutive year to this stunningly beautiful heathland course opened over 100 years ago. Visitors are not normally allowed before the beginning of March, but, as before, the club have kindly invited us back at the end of February to accommodate our busy schedule. As always, in keeping with club rules, we play in 3 balls.

With its free draining sandy loam soil, many golfers think Liphook the best conditioned course in the country all year round - many also think it has the best greens. It really is a perfect venue fo winter golf.

The practice facilities are excellent, comprising a full size range, a short game area with greens & bunkers, 2 putting greens & practice nets.

With it’s lovely clubhouse serving super food, we cannot think of a better venue to start our 2026 schedule. We very much hope you can join us.

The itinerary

• 0800 Meet for tea/coffee and bacon baps
• 0900 18 holes (3 balls) - Individual Stableford - men/yellow tees - ladies/red tees
• Nearest the Pin - 17th
• After play return to the clubhouse for a 2 course lunch (Steak Pie & Fresh Vegetables, Fruit Crumble & Custard) & prizegiving

The prizes

• A bottle of Moët et Chandon champagne to the individual winner
• A bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape to the runner up and winner of Nearest the Pin
