Our 5th visit to this stunning venue, designed by the master craftsman, Harry Colt. He famously (& modestly) described it as his ‘least bad course.’ It meanders through beautiful countryside of pines, azaleas, heather & rhododendrons, giving it a totally natural & unspoilt feel to it.
Playing access at Swinley can be difficult for many golfers, with visitor restrictions often tight. However, by playing on a Monday, we are able to play 3 balls in the morning, with more optional golf in the afternoon (2,3 or 4 balls).
And in between? Swinley’s fantastic 4 course carvery lunch. Should you wish to play again in the afternoon, a lovely afternoon tea to welcome you back. All the above is included in the price.
The itinerary
- 0700. Meet for tea/coffee & bacon rolls
- 0800. 18 holes - Individual Stableford - men/yellow tees - ladies/red tees
- Nearest the Pin - 17th
- After play return to the clubhouse for a 4 course carvery lunch & prizegiving
The prizes
- A bottle of Moët et Chandon champagne to the individual winner
- A bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape to the runner up & winner of Nearest the Pin
Optional afternoon play
- 1400. More optional golf - Peter will be on hand to organise groups for all who wish to play.
- After play, return to the clubhouse for an Afternoon Tea of tea, sandwiches & cake.
