Course info
Ranked no.96 in the 2025/26 UK & Ireland Top100 courses
Yet another IGC London course over 100 years old. Golfers at the time were limited to playing the nearby Chart GC, just 9 holes, but worse…….banned on Sundays. Time was ripe to develop a new course in the area & world renowned golf architect, Harry Colt, was invited down to scour local land.
Colt was at the height of his powers. His courses at St.George’s Hill & Swinley Forest were well known, & he had just designed the New Course at Sunningdale. His redesign of Muirfield was soon to follow, &, in 1922, Tandridge was born, with many thinking it just as brilliant a course as Colt’s other illustrious classics. It also boasts a wonderfully traditional clubhouse.
Practice facilities at Tandridge are excellent, with the practice range just 50 yards from the clubhouse.
There are separate chipping & putting greens, & 2 practice nets adjacent to the first tee.
A stunning course, In wonderful condition all year round - a perfect venue for an early season round of golf. Maybe still not completely convinced to join us? If you wanted to play as a member & applied for membership today, you’d have to wait 7 years!! If you are of a mildly impatient disposition, come & join us.
