Course info
Ranked no.37 in England’s Top100 courses
Ranked no.88 in the UK & Ireland’s Top100 courses
This natural, inland golfing paradise of heather, pine, bracken & silver birch, was created in 1914 by the renowned golf architect, JF Abercrombie. He had recently created Worplesdon, but many think the Addington his finest work. Its idiosyncratic nature sees rickety trestle bridges spanning glorious heathland dells.
Little had changed for more than a century when, in 2019, the club realised the course had become overgrown &…..well….tired. A huge restoration project began using historical photography & the Addington today, back to its former glory, is one of the UK’s finest courses. It has been the fastest rising club in the Top100 rankings in recent years.
One thing that certainly has changed over time is the view. With the centre of London just 10 miles away, certain vantage points give wonderful views of the London skyline.
We are delighted to be back at the rejuvenated Addington - we hope you will join us.
