Ranked no.82 in England’s Top100 courses

Last November, we had simply one of the best day’s golf of the year. The course, immaculate as ever, complemented the classy off course experience of valet parking, personalised lockers, club cleaning etc etc. Everyone, bar none, had a brilliant day out.

This is our 4th visit here, with this wonderful all year round course being specifically chosen for our winter golf event.

Opened in 2003, it hosted the World Golf Championship in 2006, famously won by Tiger Woods. After the event, renowned golfer Ernie Els said ‘I loved the Grove. It’s very, very impressive - the best conditioned golf course in Europe.

He continued ‘the course was great - the tees, greens & fairways all incredibly manicured. And the food too was magnificent!’

We genuinely think we too got the same treatment. Set in 300 acres of rolling Hertfordshire countryside, & with its highly impressive clubhouse, we can’t wait to return.

The itinerary

• Meet for tea/coffee & breakfast bap (create your won filling)
• 18 holes - Individual Stableford - men/yellow tees - ladies/red tees
• Nearest the Pin - 16th
• After play return to the clubhouse for a 2 course lunch & prizegiving

• Individual winner to receive a bottle of Moët et Chandon champagne
• Runner up & winner of Nearest the Pin to receive a bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape
