Course info

Ranked no.27 in England’s Top100 courses
Ranked no.66 in UK & Ireland’s Top100 courses

Bernard Darwin, the celebrated golf writer, in 1910 wrote in his book ‘the Golf Courses of the British Isles’…….
“I shall end as I began by asserting that there is no more delightful place to play golf than Woking."

Our 5th visit here to this stunning heathland course, set out on the fast draining Surrey sand belt, and one of the world famous 3 W’s. Having played its sister clubs, West Hill & Worplesdon last year, we thought it timely to now return to Woking, established in 1893. It’s membership has boasted many illustrious names over the years including Prime Minister Balfour, who managed both the country & the captaincy in 1911.

The course meanders peacefully through the beautiful Surrey countryside - it’s immaculate greens thought by many to be some of the best in the country. It has a unique, pavilion clubhouse (serving excellent food) that only adds to Woking’s charisma. Its patio offers.a perfect place to enjoy a post round drink whilst overlooking the 18th green.

Thinking of playing as a member? Just the 7 year wait for membership!
